Funerals

Every funeral involves more than 1,000 decisions that have to be made by the organiser during the worst five days of their life.

We are here to try to make the process easier during this time.

When organising a funeral a number of decisions will need to be made in regards to cremation or burial, traditional funeral or celebration of life.

Using our team’s years of expertise in conducting funerals and working with funeral directors from across the area, we will work with the family and friends  to ensure they have all the necessary arrangements in place and a service in honour of the loved one. We are able to cater for groups up to 500 people.

Just as every person is unique, it is our belief that a funeral should be a reflection of the life lived.

Please see below for the types of services we hold

Celebration of Life

A celebration of life is an opportunity for family and friends to pay tribute to a loved one and say goodbye in a uniquely personal way.

Just as each person is different, each celebration of life service is distinctive and there are many different ways you can honour your loved one and their legacy.

As you explore ideas for a service, consider what the deceased would enjoy, and what the attendees will value and will meet their emotional and spiritual needs.

Here at the Elim Church Leytonstone, we work with the family to create a service that not only honours the loved one whilst also celebrating the life they have lived.

For more information on funerals please call  our office between the hours of 10am to 4pm, Monday to Thursday.

Traditional funeral Services

Funerals have been taking place for generations: remembering the life of the loved one and their achievements, whilst also allowing family and friends to gather together during this difficult time.

One style of funeral is the more traditional funeral service that often incorporates scripture readings, eulogy and the communal singing of hymns and songs. This service can be arranged in conjunction with the ministers at Elim Church Leytonstone.
